Being active in the community is never easy, especially when you are a young community activist. This is why Our Future Foundation invites all active young people from the Lodz and Mazovia Provinces to apply for a “Mini Grant”!

The Mini Grant Programme aims to increase the involvement of young people and youth NGOs in public life by supporting youth initiatives, increasing their relevance in public life and strengthening them institutionally.

Project beneficiaries will take part in a series of free training courses and receive mentoring support. Up to 21 projects will be selected from the submitted projects, which will also receive financial support.

Summary of the 2023 edition

Mentors

The Mini Grants programme puts a strong emphasis on the development of young people and youth organisations, recognising the key role of mentoring in strengthening their role in public life.

Mentors within this programme are experienced professionals who have been actively involved in community, public or organisational life for years. With their knowledge, skills and experience, they are able to pass on valuable tools that will help them to implement their initiatives, as well as to strive for a lasting impact on their community.

Conference closing Edition 2023

The ‘Activating Youth in Poland’ conference, organised on 12 May as part of the Mini Grants Programme, was a unique event that allowed integration as well as the exchange of knowledge and experience between the various projects carried out under this programme. It provided a platform for young enthusiasts wishing to contribute to positive change in their communities.

The gathering attracted many ambitious and committed young people. The conference also became a place for inspiration, where speakers and participants shared their success stories, lessons learned from failures and plans for further activities within the Mini Grants Programme.
